This application has been popular for a number of years and is designed to stand on the ground close to the pump. As shown in the photograph, the Flowmeter is built into a robust, lightweight frame giving protection from accidental damage.
It is fitted with 4” Bauer Couplings as standard (other options available) and 6mtrs of 12volt power cable with an international 3 pin plug. |

This display can be remotely wired into the tractor where it can be constantly monitored. When the tractor and pump are separated it can be easily unplugged and the display remains with the tractor.

Flowmeter Built Into Bak Pak |

This application is similar to the In-Line version but is built into the pipework of the Slurry Applicator, either Splashplate or Dribble Bar. All Slurrykat spreading equipment can be manufactured with the appropriate flanges to facilitate the Flowmeter as shown in the photograph (left).
The remote head can be used in the cab in the same way and is connected by a standard data cable.
The whole installation can be upgraded to use a computerized in-cab display as described later. The unit only needs to be reprogrammed. |

This is a comprehensive in cab computer which reads the information from the Flowmeter and translates it into a number of readout options, having gained additional information from wheel speed, radar and implement sensors.
The operator is given a visual display of all the information which can be printed or downloaded against a specific customer or field reference. This information includes application rates, area covered, tractor speed, time and date started and finished.
It will hold up to 50 different tasks or customer details at any one time. Any one of these tasks can be suspended and returned to at a later date. The computer is easily programmed and is user friendly. It will be fully installed by our staff and training given on its use. |

These Flowmeters are ideal for use in remote situations where no power is available.Has its own built in battery with a life expectancy of six years.
This Flowmeter can be built into a manhole in the ground and needs no maintenance or attention and will switch on and off automatically.

Electronic Flowmetering for Agriculture and Industry |

Flowmeters are used extensively in the agricultural industry to accurately measure the amount of slurry applied to farmland. |
When Nitrogen values of slurry have been established a quick calculation will ascertain the application rate to any individual field enabling the maximum benefit to be obtained. This information i.e. flow rate and volume can be calculated into the acreage covered.
The data can be calculated either manually or through an in-cab tractor display and the results can either be printed or downloaded onto a lap top computer using a standard Microsoft Word programme. |
