A Word From Our CEO To Close The Year

slurrykat-ceo

Here we are again, on the busy run into Christmas and another year almost done.
2025 has been another year with its ups and downs, but never the less we made it… a good summer of farming weather and a good growing season producing some great silage for winter feeding for many in our industry.

SlurryKat has continued on the path of what we know and what we value, - shining and sharing our expertise towards our customers, through the specialist equipment that we manufacture.

A clear 2025 highlight, was launching our new 24m dribble bar at Lamma 2025, and the response and subsequent orders this autumn on the back of many demonstrations has been phenomenal and a testament to all the team, who put so much effort into the R&D of this machine in the last number of years, but it was evident that the product clearly spoke for itself in the field, demonstrating unrivalled performance, totally unprecedented in the industry before -a 24m bar that was 1.9 tonnes, not to mention the efficiency of how it applied slurry to the crops!

2025 saw continued investment in new product developments, with our relentless focus on R&D, alongside continued investment in the manufacturing plant in Waringstown, implementing more automation in steel processing, robotic welding cells, parts cleaning systems and a continued focus on efficiency in the whole process.

The main achievement this year was the opening of an all-new electronics and technology division within SlurryKat, to develop new in-house technology and control systems that are world leading to further strengthen our position as the leader in the market. This has been extremely challenging, but this hard work will pays off, that will start to come to the surface in 2026 and beyond. This is greatly encouraging for us all as a team and for me personally. 2025 saw the filing of several new patents and registered designs on new innovations, that will start to be seen in new products in early 2026.

This said, for me, the new innovations will do their own "talking" in the field, demonstrating their unrivalled performances more than any words I can ever use.

We are excited about Lamma in January 2026, at the NEC, Birmingham, where we will be showcasing our new technology systems and introduce three new products, this is the most important show of the year for us and should not be missed as we have a spectacle to showcase at the event like never before.

2026 will see more, new innovations from SlurryKat, and a few new technical surprises for the industry as usual - just to keep everyone wondering! Stand by… I am on it!!

May I also say that if you need to speak directly to me on any of the products or want to look at new equipment or any other requirements you may have, please contact me – details for phone and e mail are on the contact page at slurrykat.com. or you can fill in the contact form there…. we will get back to you if you make an enquiry to us.

As I close, and to you, reading this, as one of my customers, suppliers, friends or associates, I wish you a very peaceful Christmas with your family, loved ones and friends, and I pray for every blessing for 2026."
